Bards and Ballads is a participatory story and song workshop project taking place in Brighton, Cambridge and London. Combining the crafts of harmony singing, spoken word, creative writing and ensemble movement, Bards and Ballads creates stunning choral theatre – from creation myth to contemporary fable.
You do NOT need to be able to read music to take part in the project, all songs will be taught by ear. You just need some choral experience (not suitable for beginners), an open mind and a creative spirit!
To book your place on the project please click on the relevant city above. You can find the workshop dates below.
NB Booking is essential as places are limited to twenty participants per session. Each session is ‘stand alone’ with a different theme, but the themes are linked, so commitment to multiply sessions is preferred (though not essential).
