Raise the Roof

Raise the Roof Community Choir is based at the wonderful Horniman Museum in South London, and we meet in Thursdays.

Raise the Roof is a Community Choir with a difference – we are the Horniman Museum’s Choir-in-Residence. This means that as well as singing a diverse and dynamic repertoire of beautiful vocal music, Raise The Roof’s repertoire also features songs that accompany the changing exhibitions in the Museum, from rivers to Romania, peacetime to plant life, and textiles to taxidermy!

Raise the Roof is a Natural Voice Choir and all are welcome. There are no auditions, we learn by ear and sing from the soles of our feet!

We work towards an end of term performance, which is often at the Museum, but we have been known to venture…further afield!

  • Thursdays, 7pm – 9pm
  • Location: Gallery Square (or Education Centre when specified)
  • £90 / £80 (£10 Drop in on January 11th 2018!)

If you join for the whole term on January 11th, you get the Taster Session free!
